このたび、東京大学大学院工学系研究科で運営していた「エネルギー研究クラスター」は、社会のエネルギー問題に全学をあげて取り組むべく、
新たに「エネルギー総合学連携研究機構」を発足し、より幅広い分野と連携した研究を推進していくこととなりました。

The University of Tokyo has newly established the "Collaborative Research Organization for Comprehensive Energy Sciences" to promote research in collaboration with a broader range of fields in an effort to address social energy issues comprehensively. The activities of the Energy Research Cluster operated by the graduate school of engineering will be succeeded by the Collaborative Research Organization.

エネルギー問題に関する社会からの強い要請に応え、安心安全で豊かな脱炭素社会を実現する課題解決法を開発・実装すると共に、文理融合の新たな学理を創成していきます。

In response to strong demands regarding energy issues, we will aim to create by integrating liberal arts and natural science, and solutions will be developed and implemented to realize safe, secure and affluent decarbonized societies.

Comprehensive energy system, encompassing from energy production and transportation to conversion and final demand

エネルギー関連技術の研究開発から、エネルギー政策、制度の設計に至るまでの広範な分野に関する分析、総合化

社会実装を扱うエネルギーの総合学を確立し、安心安全で豊かな社会を支える環境負荷の低いエネルギーシステムの実現に貢献

現状の社会課題を抽出・分析すると共に、望ましい未来社会をデザインする。その未来ビジョンから技術的課題をバックキャストする思考法を涵養すると共にエネルギー総合学の学理を創成し、人材を育成します。

Based on the design of a desirable future society, students cultivate a way of thinking that identify issues to be solved by backcasting from the vision of the society.
